Hello

We seem to be having a problem with boiler. about a month ago the lights on the front panel just went out? The hot water worked but the heating did not. Mysteriously it came on again overnight and was ok for 3 weeks. We just come back from holiday to find same thing, no lights water but no heating?

ny ideas?

Circuit board failing at a guess.
The boilers eat circuit boards for breakfast.

Change the boiler you will thank me later.

icos = bad design, badly made, unreliable, expensive to repair.

Is that true of the new(er) boards also?

Maybe not so on the newer boards although I wouldn't trust them.
But given past history and
general standard of the boiler wouldn't spend a penny on an icos or isar.

Money is better spent replacing it.
