Rainwater fall pipe and soil stack

Not correct as the soil stack now vents nicely into the eaves of the house and if you were to open one of those roof windows you would have a nice waft of the drains too.

The stack should vent above the eaves and away from the roof lights and the rain water should be in seperate trapped gulley.

Thanks.
I've noticed now on a few new builds that the soil stack is being terminated
just above the highest window rather than elbow above the roof line.
It that allowable?

Cast iron soil stack by the look of it, probably why they didn't take it over the roof. The rain water wants to go to the right and down so it discharges onto the small roof below looks like the only way to do it. And a cast to plastic adaptor with a short bit of 4" and an air admittance valve on the soil should do it. Have to say that whoever did the 1.25" & 1.5" waste's made a right mess of them, no pride in their work.
