I thought it best to open a new thread otherwise get blamed for hi-jacking another post.

I bought a Firestorm 98/99 while waiting for Aprilia to launch the Mille, what a load of carp, they should never have bothered, cheap and not very cheerful, you opened the throttle and the front came up, you hit the brakes and the back came up, complete and utter sh1te!

The SP1, SP2 complete different kettle of fish,it not only looked good it stole the W.S.B.K. crown off Ducati. No mean feat.
 
Now I've always respected you pred, but to be honest I have no idea what this thread is on about :oops: Is it about remote control boats by any chance?
 
No, it's not about boats, it's about something better than sex, BIKES, fast bikes. :lol: :lol:

My biking days were short consisting only of four years on the road but I was in the Army at the time doing 30k a year on the bikes even riding through snow so no fair weather poser me.
rather tame stable of bikes - Yamaha xs250 as first bike along with a DT175 trail bike as a toy and then straight up to the lemon. then packed in bikes for cars and haven't looked back since allthough I have a sneaky urge to by a SuzukiRV (van van) as a shop hopper around town,,can see me now in pudding helmet rolled back buckskin gloves and aviator shades teeth full of flies tshirt full of oil , blue jeans and brown chelsea boots..on a beige van van with brown seat..

Late 60sAyr ice rink, mods, running battles, those were the days. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: my poor mum, its a wonder she never had a nervous breakdown.

FMT, you say i'm doin it wrong, firstly are you in a position to justify that remark, i assume you're no virgin, but have you a full bike licence? and if you ride a bike what sort?

riding a bike can't possibly be better than sex.....but the vibration on the seat of a Fazer 1000 comes pretty close.... :P
