Working away

Was in Barrow-in-Furness myself a few times last week (not working though, just pottering about). Were about's were you working?

Not the liveliest place is it?!
That's very polite description :D
I've seen it described in various ways - end of a 40 mile cul-de-sac is one (didn't go down very well when used by a comedian many years ago !) I've also heard the M6 J36 as being the a**ehole of the country, and Barrow is 40 miles up it.

Still, come 5:30 each day and I get to leave.
I was working on three ships, should have been five but one was moved to Workington and the other to Portsmouth so had to travel to those two.
Wow, from Barrow to Workington - you get to all the exotic places

And yes, I believe there are still Barrovians who go for their holidays in a caravan on Walney.

Next time you are there, see if you can find a reason to send this as a text/email/tweet:

There is no gravity here. The only reason things stay on the ground is that EVERYTHING sucks.

Hi there

You could say I work away a fair bit. Been away 6 mouths out of the year so far with another week at the end of November then away again in jan for 4 months. When I was younger it was amazing but I've been married for 12 years and now with 3 kids, it takes it out of you.
