Hi

I have recently add a new boiler fitted and the plumber fitted new controls on the radiators I think they are TRV ones?

I wish to add a drain valve to the radiator that is in the hall nearest the front door, this is because currently the way to drain my system is to lift up a floor board near this radiator and disconnect a compression fitting that is underneath it to drain the system onto the ground below. this is currently ok however we are redecorating the hall and will be laying hardwood flooring in the hall so this will no longer be easily accessible.

do I add something like this

to the opposite side of the radiator to the TRV valve?

please advise

thank you.

Hope your room stat isn't in the hallway because that radiator shouldn't have a TRV on it.
