My house has Economy 7 with a timer to control the immersion heater for the hot water. Today there was no hot water so I checked the timer to ensure it was switching on the heater. As its digital I can cycle through the time to check that it kicks in. Usually it comes on at midnight and goes off at 7 in the morning. Now when I cycle through it kicks in at 11pm and then goes off at midnight. The boost is working ok.

The make/model is Horstmann Electronic 7 Maxistore.

Does this sound like I need to get an electrician in to fit a new timer?

Thanks for any advice.

And it comes on at 11 instead of midnight because the clocks went back and your timer didn't.

The timer has a winter/summer setting to adjust the time by a hour. Its using the winter setting, but still only kicks in for one hour.

I will take a look and see if I can reset it.

Thanks for the prompt replies.
