Hello Guys, and new to this forum.
I am a refrigeration engineer and familiar but no expert in boilers/heating.
The question I have is on an s-plan layout with pressurized heating, and indirect hot water and 2 off 2 port valves.
When the controls call for heating and hot water at the same time, are both motorized valves open to allow flow??
Or does the above boiler priorotise the heating or hotwater to be satisfied first in any way?
Also if both valves are indeed open at the same time, would this then be the full load condition as all radiators and hot water coil in circuit?
How does the boiler respond to load condition when on hot water only as the circuit is greatly reduced without the radiators.
The water pressure across boiler is reduced on hot water only is assume. How does boiler compensate for this.
Sorry for long winded request ,but hope the question makes sense.
Thanks in anticipation
