Underfloor heating - Single Core Heating Cable

Can somebody please help...
I removed the underfloor cables from my thermostat a while back and I can't remember how they were originally.
Obviously, the fused live and neutral go into port 1 and 5 (** see diagram)
The sensor cables go in port 6 and 7.
Where do i put the single core heating cable. (if it were a double, it would normally go in 2 and 4.
Need help urgently.

Where do i put the single core heating cable.

The single core heating cable has two ends. One end goes into terminal 2 and the other into terminal 4

Ok, so I have a wire missing as there only appears to be one one wire coming from the underfloor heating. Maybe it has fallen down in the cavity wall.

There should be some earth wires as well.
