I have a large metal garden table which is quite badly rusted. Does anyone have any tips or ideas of how to effectively restore it please? There are so many products out there I don't really know where to start!
Scrape and sand the loose rust away, and then by some Kurust by Hammerite. Its a pink liquid that turns the rust black, and its as good as it gets for this purpose.
Then, its a suitable primer followed by the top coats. If you are going to use Hammerite paints, use the aerosol sprays - it doesn't brush well at all.
