There appears to be 100s of brands of trousers on the market but what's the best for under 20 quid??

Must have;
Big range of sizes.
Knee pad pockets.
Elephant ears.
Multi pockets.
Heavy duty stitching.
Heavy duty material.

The person that comes up with the best pair wins a major prize!!!

Screwfix site pants have all of the above except they're £24. First time on today but they seem pretty good for the price. I'm sick of paying £50 ish, and zips/seams going after a few weeks.

I thought that you had retired !

Or is it to use for your gardening?

Check the pocket depth. Site pants not deep enuff. Too many fangly wangly itsey bitsy teeny weeny pockets and loops that serve no particular function. Knee pad pockets.... sod that, get gel knee pads. Or cheap nasty jeans from £6 a pair. CAREFUL NOW! I was in 30" x 32" legs hit a certain age and went up 2"! on the waiste. Bought 2 pairs and now can't button the blighters up!

Buy right buy once and get snickers :D for years I wore trousers with elephant ears, then a few months ago I got a pair without and much prefer not having them (I only filled 'em with crap anyway) .
