Removing a jacuzzi style bath

Hi all

Although I have fitted a couple whirlpool Jacuzzi baths in the past, I now need to remove one. Having never really thought about how they work, I was wondering if I need to drain anything before lifting out? The bath is being replaced with a new standard bath, so I don't have to worry about damaging it.

Cheers!

No idea, but gut feel would be to drain the recirculating pump and pipework before attempting to move it.

Yes they are bloody heavy aren't they. I suppose it's best to undo some pipes into a bucket just in case there is any water left in them.
