Yes, but the galvanised type still need a dpm over them - most catnics have a finish which forms the dpm.
Is powder coating better than galvanising then Tony?
I think they make them out of galvanized, and then apply the black coating. Dunno what it is, but they claim it forms an integral dpc, so that no additional protection is required - except in very exposed/coastal locations.
Using Dri-therm insulation batts along with shaped lintels and WV's means that all water is deflected back outside.
