Anne Frank died in Bergen-Belsen from Typhus.

And earlier in this same thread
why did Anne Frank survive?

I might have got her place of death wrong, but Joe, your all over the place with this. Saying she survived, then blatantly changing your mind by admitting she died in a concentration camp. You don't even know the bloody truth yourself.

he can't decide which camp she went to
... Children were NOT exterminated at Auschwitz. If they were - why did Anne Frank survive? Auschwitz had its own HOSPITAL....

very much throwing in random ramblings

like this one on his other fantasy, they didn't even go to the camps
...They were where they always were - in the places where they lived. Were there 11,000,000 empty houses that no-one owned? I don't think so - do you?

He's rambling. He can't help it. It's to do with old age.

You are getting desperate John. We know the camps existed but not on the scale that you want us to believe. There are records and photographs. The Red Cross had representatives in every camp. They were labour camps - not death camps. You are losing this argument John. Your desperation is showing. ;)

She survived Auschwitz. We were taking about Auschwitz. I didn't say she went home and wrote a book. She died in Bergen-Belsen. Do some research before you start typing. When you do - you'll find everything you believe makes llittle sense.

She wasn't intentionally killed. You need to read some history mate.

You appear to claim that these people were not killed.

In which case, it is for you to show where they went. To feed millions of people needs a lot of food. Europe was living on foreign aid, and food was rationed. Who issued the ration cards, and who delivered the food? Where did the food come from and who paid for it?

millions of people need a lot of clothes and other things. You have seen the heaps of clothes (and suitcases, and shoes, and false teeth, and spectacles, and even babies' potties) at the camps. With the factories in ruins, where do you think the replacements came from, and why is there no record of them?

To move millions of people needs lots of trains and ships. European rail network had been smashed, rolling stock destroyed, ships sunk, and the seas were under constant observation from planes and naval ships. How were millions of people moved with no records, and without being seen? Do you really think you could hide 11 million living people without them being noticed?

Millions of people take up a lot of room. Where do you claim they went, without being noticed?

Occams razor says they were dead. Why do you claim they were alive and what evidence supports your claim?

Prove where the equivalent population of Sweden went - without a trace.
If the European Rail network was so smashed up how did they manage to get these millions of people to the camps to be gassed in the first place  as for the heaps of shoes, glasses ect proves nothing, over 75,000 people died in Auschwitz that alone was an enormous death toll , what do you think happened to their clothes glasses ect. what about all the other inmates who passed through the camp, they were given stripped uniforms so what happened to their clothes ,shoes ect.
As for food the Red Cross distributed millions of food parcels to POW and concentration camps across Europe, World Jewish relief organisations raised millions of dollars to send aid to Jews in Europe via the Red Cross and other groups, the Germans even they were not obliged to under the Geneva agreements allowed Red Cross delegates access to concentration camps as well as POW camps including Auschwitz.
As for the missing millions, most of the Western European Jews were accounted for, millions of Russian and Eastern European Jews were evacuated into the Russian interior ahead of the German advance, others are recorded passing through Romania to Turkey and other countries as far away as China.
If you want proof of this look at the number of so called Holocaust survivors,
there are more today than at the end of the war, after the fall of Communism it seems that tens of thousands have been "discovered" in the former Soviet Union, they claim that they fled into Russia to escape the Germans, when the war ended they were trapped behind Russian borders and as such have never been accounted for , although you would probably need an actuary to work out exact numbers with death rates over 70 years among these survivors it is not hard to see that there must have been a hell of a lot more than there is today.

Just joined this forum noticed this topic. It happened not only the Jews my mother from Crete at the age of 18 when the Nazis invaded everybody on the island fought throughout Greece and the islands the Nazis committed many acts of vengeance many joined the resistance my mother was arrested for helping and sent to auswitz being young and fit she was lucky and used as forced labour this is fact

That's a video about typhus. We know that typhus killed hundreds of thousands. Now tell us John. why a death camp would keep typhus and TB victims alive. What was in it for the Germans? Nothing, that's what. Ergo it was NOT a death camp. You people believe anything. Absolutely anything.

Does it show people being gassed? 11,000,000 of them? didn't think so.

Expendable slave labour was used to repair tracks.

Re-cycled. German soldiers freezing to death on the Russian front were happy to wear re-cycled fur coats.

As for food the Red Cross distributed millions of food parcels to POW and concentration camps across Europe,
To POW camps yes, and a large percentage did resch the prisoners.
But not to concentration and extermination camps. The un-armed Red Cross observers were restricted in where they could go and if they did arrive at an extermination camp they would be shown a "happy barack" of privilaged prisoners who would have been shot if they had voiced any complaints. It is not impossible that Red Cross observers who had seen too much would be among those who "died under Allied bombing raids" while travelling through Germany.

Survivors are normally those who were taken into a camp and left it alive at the end of the war. Many of the "new" survivors you mention are more accurately those who escaped before the Nazi began the extermination program.

Joe .... No one is claiming that 11 million were gassed.

Your own sources mention the many deaths from illness, hunger, exhaustion, brutal punishments, torture, shooting, poisoning, medical experiments, vivisection, target practice, and other causes.
