You really do believe all that propaganda don't you? Do you believe in human skin lampshades too? You've been told all your life that this is the case - you aren't even capable of changing your mind about any of it.

Do you believe that Dachau had gas chambers, Bernard?

If the European Rail network was so smashed up how did they manage to get these millions of people to the camps to be gassed in the first place
Expendable slave labour was used to repair tracks.

:
as for the heaps of shoes, glasses ect proves nothing, over 75,000 people died in Auschwitz that alone was an enormous death toll , what do you think happened to their clothes glasses ect.
Re-cycled. German soldiers freezing to death on the Russian front were happy to wear re-cycled fur coats.

As for food the Red Cross distributed millions of food parcels to POW and concentration camps across Europe,
To POW camps yes, and a large percentage did resch the prisoners.
But not to concentration and extermination camps. The un-armed Red Cross observers were restricted in where they could go and if they did arrive at an extermination camp they would be shown a "happy barack" of privilaged prisoners who would have been shot if they had voiced any complaints. It is not impossible that Red Cross observers who had seen too much would be among those who "died under Allied bombing raids" while travelling through Germany.

look at the number of so called Holocaust survivors, there are more today than at the end of the war
Survivors are normally those who were taken into a camp and left it alive at the end of the war. Many of the "new" survivors you mention are more accurately those who escaped before the Nazi began the extermination program.
Why don't you read the Red Cross report on these camps instead of repeating the "happy barrack" myth.
Thanks for confirming my point about the "new" survivors being Jews who escaped into the Russian interior before the Germans arrived.
I have read that there are now up to 1000,000 holocaust survivors still around if that is case 70 years after the war how many would there have been when the war ended.

I read lord of the rings once, I don't believe it was true though.

Anne Frank died in Bergen-Belsen from Typhus.

And earlier in this same thread
why did Anne Frank survive?

I might have got her place of death wrong, but Joe, your all over the place with this. Saying she survived, then blatantly changing your mind by admitting she died in a concentration camp. You don't even know the bloody truth yourself.
The truth is she was sent to Auschwitz with her father who became ill with typhus and was taken to the camp infirmary where he was treated and survived the war, Anne was then transferred to Belsen where she died in a typhus epidemic, the question is if the Germans had a policy of selecting those fit for work and gassing those who were sick or to young to work how did she and her father manage to survive Auschwitz?

do you think that quibbling over one survivor, late in the war, disproves the holocaust?
There was more than one mate and you know it, what about Elie Weisel the celebrity Holocaust survivor didn't he survive Auschwitz along with his father.
When Auschwitz was being evacuated by the Germans Weisel and his dad were given the choice to go West with the Germans or wait for the Russians to come after all he had been through what do you think his choice was?

Weisel claimed he witnessed the gassing of thousands of jews by the Nazis , Yet when given the opportunity to escape his tormentors he chose to travel with them, there were millions of refugees heading West, he could have joined them.
You are the plonka mate.
