If installing a dishwasher in the kitchen by removing a draw. Is it essential there is lino under the dishwasher?

Well its 600 wide so I dont need lino under it?
Are you referring to a drawer pack ie. a base unit?
Vinyl sheet flooring or any other finished flooring is not essential under a dish washer. Unless you are now left with a bare patch that was previously covered by the drawer pack, and the bare patch is now somehow showing beyond the appliance or any plinth?

Yes a base unit so there will be no lino were the dishwasher will go

Not a problem. Only slight problem is that it may make it difficult to pull out for maintenance in the future as the feet will catch on the lino when you try to pull it out
Making it a two man job to pull it it guessing then
If you get a slight leak from the dishwasher (and they have to go wrong sometimes) it will soak under the lino and go unnoticed for quite a long time. If you can somehow waterproof the screed If it is screed then you may see signs a bit earlier
It would be a wood floor chipboard.
