on ideal thread about gas valve ( lf fault)

Not much mate. Just the usual.

Op gets aggrevated because he has a problem with being told that diy gas posts are not allowed.

Gets on his high horse and starts being a ****.

Basically stating that if he is not capable of tightening a few screws and sealing a gasket on a part inside the sealed combustion chamber. Then he is happy to receive the consequences

Rgi's tell him where to go.

Mods jump in far too late and hit the delete button:D;)

Delving into the realms of gas advice Paul. I think all should be removed if it even comes up that way it is a blanket snub on it rather than a mish mash of partial advice, google warriors and the untrained DIY warrior that doesn't take "we won't give gas advice" as an end to it but then starts a flame war.

Long may the deletion of threads like that continue.

i had a feeling that was going to happen, it didn't make sense when he said he tested for voltages with components disconnected, i asked him to explain but then i was offline . its true thou as both of you has said ,if they want gas information pay the £ 5000 approx and train like every other rgi has done

Well we'll see the child hating moron posted slanderous comments (or is it libellous?) which are still up too. Might need to issue legal proceedings. ;)

Leave him alone @Dan Robinson he just likes an intellectual challenge which we cannot compete with although I did find this mathematical problem which had me stumped. Maybe @Mikefromlondon could help me out.

cat.jpg + sack.jpg +
bricks.jpg

First part of the equation is wrong mate.

Not really, he loves his cats so now he can see what it feels like to be force fed some BS and understand why people get upset by peoples shortsighted views.

How long before these are removed and or banned!!??

Bet he reads my posts here too ;)

I hope he does that's why I tagged him.

Jon

@Dan Robinson The problem is it is all to easy to get the post count up and thus the ad revenue while allowing this BS to continue while having a long term affect on the site and it's actual useful and regular posters. Many have stopped helping and moved on and many more sit in the wings rather than get embroiled in all of the hassle.

There needs to be a big shake up in this forum especially as we account for a lot of the posts on this site yet get dealt the rough end of the stick with these idiots and non active moderation.

I for one have stopped dealing with these gas questions and now have a stock picture that I will post whenever I see a request for gas advice and I suggest that all others follow suit rather than getting into any continued arguments with someone that just wants to hear their own answer.

Continued and multiple reports of posts and threads rather than just the one or two of us would bring more attention too.

A lot of us have been here for 10 years or so in one form or another and have helped build a site that someone else can make money from. A little respect returned isn't too much to ask for those long standing members.
