Can anyone help
I have the dreaded Ideal ICOS HE24. It is about 3 and half years old.
Not been serviced for about 2 years.
Recently noticed it had tripped out on LF fault reset and was fine for 5 days.
When it tripped out again, I watched it start up and it made 3 vibrating noises before starting up, but worked ok.
The following day it had tripped again so watched the boiler so more again it made this vibrating sound and locked out on LF fault left for a few mins and tried again it made the same noise but started this time.
Checked and cleaned the condensate trap not that dirty.
Ran the boiler on test, still made the same noise.
Removed the trap and ran the boiler again, this time it did not make the noise, also water started dripping, so no blockage.
Refitted the trap this time the boiler did not make the noise.
The following day it started making this noise again but not tripping out.
Could it be becasue it is a widy day could cause this problem.
