Propane torch leaking?

When I connect my torch onto the propane cylinder the gas starts leaking out. I tighten it all the way and it still leaks.

Didn't have this issue with my old cylinder. Literally all I'm doing is screwing the torch onto the cylinder. Am I missing something?

Nope. Tape made it work for about 30 seconds now its leaking again

Bottle is Todays Tools TTP. Torch is Bullfinch Firepower Torch No. 3640.

Not familiar with those, but I guess there's a damaged O ring there somewhere.

Get a proper torch and dedicated gas bottle before you kill yourself would be my advice

Faulty O ring as mentioned or faulty cylinder. The threads do not create a seal.

Haven't ever heard anyone say that about Rothenberger torches. In my experience they last about five years, which is pretty good for a tool that's used almost every day
