Trickle :(

Do you reckon I could fit a single impeller pump?
Haha I can hear wasp nests being disturbed.

Yep, single impeller pump to basin, a home booster pump on mains incoming, 2 x 600L accumulators in the loft with a boost set attached, 28mm pipework to basin and raise tank to just above ridge tile level. Low pressure shut off switches and an upgrade to 42mm incoming main. Oh and change the taps. Should work then!

I don't think it is a good option but yes, it would probably work to that tap - but it might affect the others if they are open at the same time. Don't quote me if it doesn't help though!!

OK last daft question of the night, promise!
very quiet in here by the way (thanks endecotp )

What is a a single impeller pump for? Why do they sell them? Where would you use one?

Thanks denso13 for some straight forward answers, many many regards.

Straight forward answers then!?

Q1 : Pumping stuff
Q2 : Profit, it's how businesses work.
Q3 : In applications where they are required and fit for purpose.

Hope that helps

From one well known manufacturer "To boost tank fed supplies to combination boilers, instantaneous electric showers, instantaneous electric water heaters, and washing machines/dishwashers – according to inlet pressure requirements."
