Odd Shared Log cabin - DIY Build - Materials and Joints

Hello all

Title should be Odd-Shaped Log Cabin.

I am looking to build a log cabin out of 45mm double tonged and grooved timer. These self assembly cabins seem to be plentifully to buy, but they are all square.

Ideally I would looking to buy the timber, and pre-made doors and windows, and then use a radial arm saw or Sliding double mitre saw to cut the joints into the walling timber at the interesting angles.

Struggling to find a timber merchant that sells the 44/45 mm wide timber in the first place, never mind the premade doors and windows. Any suggestions would be most welcome?

For the Joints, I plan build templates for each joint and use the router to take out the top and bottom of the joints, and then the radial saw to take out the width.

Considered building a shed with Shiplap sides, but would like to explore the log cabin route first

Thanks for feedback, I plan to start blogging about the project, as one of the suppliers I have been really helpful and looks like he can provide the materials.
