Highflow 400 rag boiler safety temperature limiter

My boiler safety temperature limiter we thought was broken was replaced with new one but boiler still trips out after a short time working ( 2 mins) can be reset but the same problem happens again.

What did the person changing it have to say.

If it's tripping out the boiler is overheating.

Does it trip when working on heating or hot water? Or both?

The o/h stat should have been replaced by a gas reg boiler engineer.

If it was then why is he apparently unable to diagnose the fault?
