Thats ok, we will be buying chlorinated kebab meat from Trump meats Inc

Transam naughty boy that's a Daily mail article .....admit it your a closet Daily Mail buyer and reader !!!

It was also on Radio 4 last night or this morning. Apparently, the phosphates are injurious to your heart, so I suggest we let them ban it. Although it could be argued that kebab eaters ae a species that deserve to be wiped out.

No offense meant to any kebab eaters reading this.

If anyone eats kebabs regularly, I doubt it is the phosphates that'll be killing them (y)

most kebabs are fairly healthy chunks off vegetables fruit 'chunks off chicken beef or pork with salad
kebab tends to mean cooked on a skewer
now you are probably correct assuming you mean doner kebab will tend to be the greater volume and are reformed meat with a typical 25-40% fat content

Yes, the healthy ones are shish kebabs, and it's the donner kebabs that have the phosphate in it. As you say, the donner shanks are processed meat with the phosphates added to keep them soft, moist, and give them a longer life. The shish kebabs are just pieces of fresh meat cut so manageable sizes, and cooked fresh.

But as most kebab shops are run by turks (or at least Muslims), then you won't often get Pork kebabs as they pork is a forbidden meat; but you'll find them in the Greek kebab shops.

The problem with pork,is that it starts to go off as soon as the pig dies, and it can have a lot of intestinal problems. Now several thousand years ago in hot countries, and with no fridges, it was far safer to ban pork from being eaten. Unfortunately, we are now able to refrigerate meat, and keep it safe to eat. Unfortunately, once a religion has an idea in it's head, it doesn't tend to change it's mind very easily.

Well I got that wrong.........I thought it was a thread about all the EU parliament members seeking Asylum here where the EU superstate
Dream collapses along with the Euro .......
