Hi

I have bought the following

OIL-FILLED CONVECTOR HEATER 2000W

https://www.screwfix.com/p/acova-tag-200-116-s-wall-mounted-oil-filled-convector-heater-2000w/76782

I want to control it via Nest 3rd Generation Thermostat.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/nest-smart-thermostat-hot-water-control/7761k#_=p

But when I looked at the Nest relay amps it only supports <3 amps but the heater might require 8amps (calculations on the basis of Amps=2000W/230V )

Is there a way to control the above heater through NEST by adding the extra relay on the heater side?

Many thanks for the help.

Yes, it can be done. You can wire the Nest Heatlink terminal 3 to provide a live to operate a relay / contactor suitable for 2kW and use that to switch a separate 13A supply to the heater.

Please send me a link to that relay or from where shall I buy
Many thanks for your help.
