Water shock Arrestor - Any tips ?

Just about to fit one of these to reduce some noise when a machine is going through it's motions.
Water pressure is, I believe, quite high.
Is it just fit and forget or do I need to fiddle with the pressure for best results ?

No adjustment required, just fit it close to the washing machine.

You might be better off fitting a pressure reducing valve, or possibly both.
