Why do countries like having nuclear weapons?
Iraq had no nuclear weapons. It was invaded.
Ukraine had no nuclear weapons. It was invaded.
N. Korea has nuclear weapons. Mr Trump has offered to have tea with the president.

Then u have that virtual failed corrupt state Pakistan who have the Islamic bomb . country is in poverty but hey ho they have the bomb , & all the rag tag fruit cakes came onto the street to celebrate when Pakistan announced that they had it , be it that most of masses celebrating had no shoes on , no access to running water, sanitation, health care ect

A triumph of optimism over experience
possibly influenced by the previous pro-Russian puppet government, and pro-Russians in all senior posts.
Perhaps if they'd kept some, they wouldn't have been invaded as Putin recreates the Soviet Empire.

Better a Soviet empire than a Nazi one, the Russians had legitimate reasons for occupying Ukraine, pro Nazi sentiment is still strong amongst Ukrainian Nationalists, Nazi backed Ukrainian Nationalists waged genocide against ethnic Russians and Jews in WW2 , who's to say the same thing couldn't happen again.
So that's what you think.
