Tree rescue

Good morning all.

Can you tell me if I can rescue my Christmas tree.
Had it in a pot for about 3 years planted it about 3 weeks ago.. Felt possibly to late but worth a try.

I have seen worse recover .

Did you leave the soil from the pot around the roots when planted it ? That ( I am told ) gives it the best chance of getting the necessary root spread into the new "home".

Hell Bernard I did & gently loosened the roots
