I'm currently refurbing a downstairs extension into a bathroom/utility room, to contain a walk in shower, wall hung toilet, washing machine, tumble dryer, monarch midi water softener and a combi boiler (new one to replace the old one in the kitchen which is on the other side of the battened wall). The objective is to conceal all pipework and do away with the DHW riser pipes currently in the corner of the kitchen.

I've finished 'dry fitting' my CH and DHW pipework, the idea being that the boiler installer will just have to do the gas pipework and then connect up to the DHW and CH pipes which I have installed right up to the boiler position.

I have upgraded the supply to the house in 32mm MDPE all the way back to the main. This comes up via an insuduct through the wall and mates to 22mm copper with a full bore lever valve. I have a drain cock and spurs taken off to go to the kitchen for unsoftened water and to the boiler for CH circuit topup. It then goes through a double check valve and through the water softener all in 22mm. A 15mm spur takes off softened water to the boiler for DHW. I have a temporary bit of pushfit pipework taking the water to the house at the moment.

The cold softened water is in 22mm all the way along the wall where it will feed the Mira digital shower mixer, toiler, washing machine and sink tap along the way.

The 3 pipes go through the wall to the kitchen and will feed the kitchen with cold softened, hot softened and cold raw, as appropriate. The 22mm cold softened steps down to 15mm at this point.

CH flow and return plus softened hot and cold turn the corner and go up behind the false wall and up into the ceiling void, through the wall into the kitchen ceiling void (kitchen ceiling is down already) where the boiler installer can connect them to the current pipework.

I've also fitted a heated towel rail circuit (including drain off) directly to the CH flow and return 22mm pipes. Not actually teed in yet.

Have I missed anything out here? Anything I need to change?

Thanks all

To stop the pipes pinging out of the clips the moment you put the plasterboard up.

You can get colour coded ones too, although I mark mine with a Sharpee.

Right, OK, yeah that would be quite annoying, I'll do that, cheers.

That's a lot of work to do without soldiering as you go! When you come to do it for real, make sure you don't get any No-blows! :)
