Hi all,
I have installed the Hive this weekend and the hot water boost heats the radiators. Any idea how to stop this. Heating works as it should. Previous options were hot water only or hot water with heating.

Any help would be great.

I have wired the blue to neutral, red to 3 HW on yellow to 4 CH on.
Best wishes,

You don't tell us anything about the type of heating system that you are fitting the Hive to. However:

Previous options were hot water only or hot water with heating.

This is normally associated with antiquated heating systems (Pre 1980's) that because of the restrictions of the plumbing don't allow fully independent control of the heating and hot water.

Therefore, if you do have a system that has gravity circulation of hot water with just the central heating being pumped, then the Hive needs to be set to gravity mode of operation.

Changing a programmer usually just involves moving the wires from the original programmer to the terminals at the new programmer that have the same function.

Regarding the wiring, stating the colours doesn't help. They would have been chosen at the personal preference of the original installer. There is no standard colour scheme, to check the wiring, we would really need to know what is connected to the other end of each wire.
