How long for loft insulation to fluff up?

Slightly random question!

I'm adding 200mm loft insulation,
Knauf 200mm Super Top Up Loft Roll Insulation https://www.wickes.co.uk/Knauf-200mm-Super-Top-Up-Loft-Roll-Insulation---5-61m2/p/109451

Obviously it's not 200mmm on the roll, but how long should I expect to wait for it to expand once laid? I'm asking as I have an EPC inspection next week, and it's not measuring at 200mm after a few days.

Did you try and "fluff" it up? I used Knauf 100mm base layer + 170mm top up. After I laid a roll out, I'd pick up the top layers and fluff it up a bit (only gently). It was full thickness pretty much immediately.

For the EPC, the surveyor's head will spend all of 2 seconds in the loft. Just make sure the bit round the hatch looks half decent.
