With winter drawing in I need to get round to a job i meant to do all summer.

The suspended floor in my living room gets freezing during winter. I have about 1.5 meters space under it so intend to go down and insulate the best i can without spending to much.

How effective would this stuff be stuffed between the joists and held in place with netting?

Seems like a reasonable price to cover the whole floor, but only if it works.

It's good, did mine over a year ago, great improvement.

Don't compact it (will lose it's efficiency) try to buy the whatever thickness your joists are.
I put building paper over the top, before putting the floorboards down.
