From the Oracle of wisdom and Truth ... the observer ..... no not really !
The Righteous Daily Mail ......

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...tisfied-politicians-launched-coup-Brexit.html

I will say one thing if I was a betting man, that the political careers of politicians who voted to remain from constituents that voted leave don't have long political careers ! Obviously they're a bit short sighted to have considered that !

And whatever happens now with this stupid wishy washy set of politicians on both sides of the house, what do you think the battle cry of the next set of people wanting to get elected will have as their battle cry ?

" You voted out ! Vote for me and I'll take us out ! We'll reverse the Brexit deal nonsense !"

The Brexit debacle is like playing poker and all your friends discussing your hand in front of your opponents ....its ridiculous ........If Maggie had been in charge the EU beaurocrats would have been shaking in terror at the British bulldog instead we have a yorkshire terrier running around yapping with its tail between its legs.

I think gasbag is mad that he's gonna lose his deposit laid down at the local WI/Darby & Joan/bingo club because his March 29th party looks in peril. Just have the Friday night bingo as normal. The daft old dribbling Brexiteers won't know the difference.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

True, TM has been trying to do the impossible for the last 2½ years.

trying to sort out a consensus when about half the voters want one thing and about half want the opposite was never going to be easy.

So she didn't try.

Her approach was, not to have a discussion; not to seek views; not to tell anybody what her approach and objectives were; but to go away and stitch something up, then come back and tell us to take it or leave it.

I see hatejob doesn't know what "consensus" means.

hatejob still doesn't know what "consensus" means.

I don't really understand this, maybe someone will enlighten me. So our politicians have voted against a no deal (wise) I know it's not binding. PH has said leaving on the 29th is "impossible". Surely all the EU have to do now is say no to any extension of A50 and it is game, set and match. No brexit?

see also:

"Consensus is the community resolution when opposing parties set aside their differences and agree on a statement that is agreeable to all, even if only barely.

Disputes on Wikipedia are settled by editing and discussion, not voting. Discussion should aim towards building a consensus. Consensus is a group discussion where everyone's opinions are heard and understood, and a solution is created that respects those opinions. Consensus is not what everyone agrees to, nor is it the preference of the majority. Consensus results in the best solution that the group can achieve at the time. Remember, the root of "consensus" is "consent". This means that even if parties disagree, there is still overall consent to move forward in order to settle the issue. This requires co-operation among editors with different interests and opinions."
