In the short time that I've been here, I think that this Discussion forum resembles the kind of reality show like the Jeremy Kyle show.
It looks less like a Discussion forum and more like an adversarial, willy-waving arena. This doesn't apply to all participants, but definitely, I think, some posters view any discussion as a challenge to their mettle, refusing to accept that they are mistaken, or persisting with a perverse opinion despite the number of times unassailable proof, indisputable logic, or intelligent argument is presented.
Maybe there are some voyeurs who enjoy this battle of wits rather than any extension or improvement of understanding that a Discussion forum ought to generate.

I think I could extend my consideration of this forum even further, and suggest that for some posters, there are other contributors, against whom they feel they must take an opposing position, regardless of the validity, of the original comment.
When one of these "loathed" individuals make a comment, for some, a red mist descends over their eyes, permeating their brains, causing them to lose all sense of self-restraint and commenting without any degree of self-control, morality or sensibility.
I suppose, for some, it's good entertainment.
Perhaps the forum should be renamed to reflect its entertainment value?

Lot of fuss over nothing imho
Some bloke snuffs it and the great and the good go OTT with there PC agenda
Way I see it all or most who went on the show were dead beats and social mis fits
They should all be given the option of doing themselves in
