Hi

I'm currently trying to sort out s garden that hadn't been touched in years.

Removed a big bush, but the root seems to run underneath a path and I can't pull it up.
There's nothing either nearby of any interest, so could I use some weed killer or something similar to try and destroy the root?

Any product recommendations?

Thanks
Mark

Whats the bush, many will not grow from roots anyway.

Good question I'm not sure , I don't think I've even got a photo of it now good to know though that maybe I can just leave it be, just one large bit attached to the root I can't pull up

Maybe not an issue though

Cut it as close to the ground as you can and drill into the stump with as wide a drill bit as you can to make a hollow - fill said hollow with concentrated weedkiller and cover it with some plastic wrapped tightly over the stump.
