Climate Change. UK (Gysin) inquired about the possibility of including reference to climate change in a future UK-US trade agreement

US (Stewart) responded emphatically that climate change is the most political (sensitive) question for the US, stating it is a ‘lightning rod issue’, mentioning that as of 2015,
USTR are bound by Congress not to include mention of greenhouse gas emission reductions in trade agreements.

Action Items
 US to share their public lines on chlorine-washed chicken to help inform the media narrative around the issue.

Great so this taking back control thing is;

Higher Drug Prices
Chlorinated Chicken
Screw the environment

Shame on you for wanting this for yourself or your kids. This is Brexit coming home in all its failed glory.

Screw the environment

People have been doing it for centuries and will continue doing it.
Chlorinated chicken? No worse than the chicken you already eat.
From chick to plate in 5 weeks. Force fed and pumped full of chemicals.

Higher drug prices? The junkies won't like that.

And no pictures of Greta Thundberg on trade deals.

Sad that a man in his 50s has to make a point by making fun of a 16yr old. You win todays lesson in being a numpty. You have kids / grandkids want to post their pic on here so we can make fun of them?

You really have no response do you. Just think you have been conned, sold a pack of lies but rather than admit that all you have left are poor jokes.

Chlorinated chicken is worse than the chicken we currenly eat. The reason it has to be chlorinated is that they are reared in such horrible conditions that chlorination is the US method to try make the chicken passable for human consumption. Salmonella kills in the US - 450, in the UK 0.

They don't care about the damage brexit is doing - most of them are sociopaths.

It's curious as to why the LWW have latched onto 'chlorinated chicken' as being the work of the devil and 'unsafe to eat - we're all gonna die'.
The fact is the EU has openly stated it has 'no safety concerns' over chlorinated chickens.

https://fullfact.org/europe/does-eu-say-its-safe-eat-chicken-rinsed-chlorine/

The EU's only concern is that because it is an effective way of cleaning chicken, that may lead to hygiene shortcuts further up the food processing chain.
The reason US chicken is banned by the EU is over animal welfare concerns, more birds bred in smaller spaces which can (but not necessarily) lead to poorer hygiene conditions, negated by the chlorine (20-50 parts per million with water).

Canada have a trade agreement as you know with the US, they have cheap chlorinated chicken, they also have more expensive non chlorinated chicken and even more expensive non chlorinated free range chicken, the consumers have a choice.

By the time the chlorinated water drains off the bird, and the bird is cooked, what would your thoughts be as to the level of chlorine in parts per million left on the chicken.

While you're thinking about that, do a quick google on chlorine levels in UK drinking water, in fact, check the worldwide levels of chlorine in drinking water.

But FFS Galahad, whatever you do, don't ever, ever, ever go anywhere near a swimming pool.

60s actually, sorry if I touched a nerve with the picture of Greta, I didn't realise you felt so 'passionately' about her.

Global. Warming is a good thing for some

Ask the bloke In Greenland he is growing straw berries in his garden and he's happy having spent years eating seals and huskies

PlUs the interior is opening up for gold and other precious metal mining and all the wealth gets shared amongst the population they could all end up millionaires ;)

Agreed global warmi g may cause sea levels to rise so the Dutch may have a problem but hey ho s*** happens

And as said dont go swimming in a pool

Also this chicken caper we could test it on some scum. Bag criminals first see if it's safe

But the US does't want 'useful food labelling' applied to it's products...

Consumers only have a choice if they know what they are choosing!

Transam is doing his bit for the environment

He is Wilding his back garden

Yep tis true neighbours may not like it but the way I see it they can go and do one :)

My mate is feeding the foxes when he is away I take over

You truly have lost it mate.

Scraping the barrel to make your points. You miss the point that the US also wants weakened labelling so you wouldn't have the choice of knowing where your chicken came from.

Sell your grandkids down the river. (y)

Only tough RWRs who need to use a pic of her to make a point. I wonder what your grandkids would think of you. A joke no doubt. (y)
