22mm Pipes clips needed after Magnaclean fitted

Hi all . Had a magnaclean fitted but need some pipe clips/ clamps that I can fit and screw on either side of the pipe as when taking the lid off the pipes twist a fair bit and make the joint at the boiler weep a little .
All the stand-off type clips I’ve seen at wickes etc are too far from the walls for the pipes as is

Look for "Munsen Rings"

You can get them on Ebay

Made in two or three parts, the pipe clamp, wall fixing, and a stem, available in various lengths and adjust a bit by screwing in and out, or rigid fixed length.

Brass or chrome, a bit expensive but you won't need many.

A cheaper option is to screw a thick block of wood to the wall to take up the gap, and use ordinary cheap pipe clips.

Thanks a lot . I got some plastic clips by they still flex and don’t hold the pipe that well if you want to pull the magnaclean off using the quick release ..

Can’t seem to find any that are suitable . My pipe is about 12mm off the wall . Smallest clearance I can find is 20mm . Any thing you know of that fits the bill?

the gap is so small that you may as well screw a piece of half-inch thick timber to the wall.

DIY solution - make custom sized saddle clamps from wood. Clamp together two 75mm lengths of 25mm square hardwood. Now drill suitable sized screw clearance holes at 50mm apart through both parts and then drill a 22mm hole through the centre at the joint line. This will give you back and front saddle bars. If slightly too loose for the pipe, either start again using a slightly smaller drill or place a piece of thin card (cornflake box) into the saddles.
Chamfer off the edges to look neat and drive a screw through both halves into the wall

Best not to rely on the pipes to restrain the body when taking the lid off - hold the body with your other hand, or even get a mate, one of you to hold the body with both hands, one to use the spanner thing. And only tighten it moderately.
