Hi, our Candy dishwasher keeps coming up with a fault about two thirds through its wash and never seems to heat any water while its washing. I don't think it gets as far as its drying phase. When the fault occurs it flashes the P2 LED and beeps repetitively. Candy can't come out due to the COVID situation. I put a multimeter on the element and it seems fine. After having the machine out it did work correctly for two washes but the fault came back. I didn't find any problems while I had it out. I haven't been able to find out the fault code from the internet. Any help would be great.

Candy can be anything re badged so the lights will indicate a fault ref but without the booklet or knowing whose it is will be a challenge. It is likely to do with connection to the element or control module or a sensor so you may need someone to come in and take a look. Problem is its a cheaper range unit and that could result in costing more than its worth. Typical problem many face when deciding to try and fix or replace. Good luck hope its an easy fix for you.

Thanks. I might take it into my local repair shop. They look for €25 so at least I’ll have a better idea. Will have to wait till the lockdown is lifted here
