That's because there is nothing to see. Just hyped up by people that don't actually understand what they actually did. It's just about them being open about their company policy. They are not doing anything different from many other companies in the UK today, they just chose to state it
on their website. There has been a long culture in businesses in the UK (and many other countries!) of ignoring racism in the workplace. Black people have been sidelined, paid less, given worse jobs, and when they have been the victim of racism, have been ignored and had their complaints disregarded. Sainsburys, like
many other companies, are just saying, we are equal, and if you experience racism, there is support and we will not tolerate it.
Not really so bad, is it? I don't think it will affect your shopping experience in any way!
