Pinning back this cable

This cable's blown loose. What should I use to pin it back? On my flat. We're trying save rip off maintenance money

Looks quite heavy duty in the pic., I would think you might need to fix it with cleats rather than clips.

Not a good idea to guess. Looks like it might be an armoured cable.

So 240V . I guess it's safe to pin back myself if there's no bare wires that I can see when I pin it

Could well be 3 phase even if supplying 240 volt domestic flats. I'm pretty sure UK Power Networks would fix this free of charge and probably within an hour or so of reporting it too. They got to my house within 20 minutes of reporting a cable fault going to my main fuse and had it fixed within an hour.

To me it looks as if 4 cables come out of the ground io a grey vertical duct, One cable does behind the water water pipe and through a hole in the side wall. The other three cables go up to the roof.

That looks like 4 mains supply cables to 4 different flats. Almost 100% certainly a job for the local DNO

Whatever you use, make sure it can't chafe or cut into the cables at all.
While you've got the ladder up there, check out your roof, it appears there's stuff growing up there that shouldn't be.
