How did using a cooker correctly kill these people ?
So how is that the fault of Beko ? Perhaps if CO alarms were compulsory, along with heat alarms, they may have survived. They put the grill on by mistake and shut the door.
If the grill isn't supposed to function with the door closed, do safety standards dictate a cut-off should be fitted? So how is that the fault of Beko ? Perhaps if CO alarms were compulsory, along with heat alarms, they may have survived.

Not been an issue before, maybe they should mention not doing it in the manual. If the grill isn't supposed to function with the door closed, do safety standards dictate a cut-off should be fitted?

What safety devices, are Beko not fitting mandatory safety devices which other manufacturers are? I know my one hasn't got one. If a hair dryer maker says in their instructions "don't stand in a bath full of water while using this product " , but people did, and died , would the maker be liable ? Certain things are dangerous, sometimes lethally so, if not used as specifiedIhavenojob....... hmmmm. How is it the manufacturers fault that they manufacture & sell a product that doesn’t have the appropriate safety devices & has caused multiple deaths?
IF ITS NOT THEIR FAULT, WHOS IS IT!!
You’re not the lawyer for a cigarette company by any chance are you?
They do have a responsibility, the cooker is subject to tests, and if it passes it is given a CE mark so it can be sold in the eu. Part of these tests are understandable instructions, which will tell you how to use the appliance SAFELY. Unless all these cookers were imported and fitted illegally, then Beko has acted correctly. There was also a recall on the cooker for a modification to the door seal.Yeah well that tells me you are not. If you don’t think a manufacturer has a responsibility, join the NRA
