Drip drip drip.....

After flushing there seems to be an almost constant dripping sound from the cistern.
Has a seal or something failed? Any ideas kind folks? Does something need replacing?

Yeah. Inlet washer need replacing. Might have grit or just worn out. Look up how to change your particular brand and get new rubber. If your not going to take apart you might as well put a new one in as even cleaning them can be temporary fix
 
Cheers for your reply. Will it be branded somewhere on it? As I have no idea what it is :)
 
Fit a complete new valve ,such as a flowmasta bottom entry ,brass tailed one.
 
Should be branded but sometimes not. Can be easy job to do if you can find out how, however sometimes it's a bit beyond DIY job and maybe get a plumber. Depends on skill level to just swap for new one..
