Help identifying bathroom tap washer ?

Hi Guys

i’ve gone online and searched dozens of websites to try and work out what replacement tap washer i need to replace this but I can’t for the life of me work out which one I need. Even Ebay came up blank,

It’s 5mm thick, 18mm wide and 16mm wide at the part that fits into the shroud of the valve.

I’ve added lots of pics for clarity, any help really appreciated

You need a standard straight 1/2" tap washer.

Don't use yours as a guide as it's been over compressed and jammed out of shape over time

thanks do you really mean 1/2” as that’s only 12.7mm nowhere near the 18mm of the original ??

Don't worry about doing a straight comparison between metric and imperial. The one you need is 1/2" bsp flat tap washer

thanks what about the countersunk hole in my one for the screw that holds the washer in place, won’t that screw sit raised so the rubber washer doesn’t make a seal in the replacement one ?

thanks i bought the one you recommended and your were spot on, mine must have been completely deformed.

Good stuff .... just remember that the tap doesn't need to be screwed down tight now, otherwise your new washer will end up like your old one in no time, just tight enough to stop the water.
