Ride-on Mower worth investment..? Mountfield 827m??

Thankfully the deck on this one doesn't float too much - unlike some which need scalp wheels to give the deck some clearance.
I think this would be a good choice of machine, but the hydrostatic model is so much nicer.

I agree, having used both types extensively the Hydro is much faster to use and a lot less tiring.
Makes mowing almost fun,

Worth it, I think....especially if there’s likely to be a fair bit of shunting backwards and forwards. A lot easier on the machine too!

After much deliberations I have gone for Mountfield R28.

Its stalling a lot but my grass is over grown to 5 feet now!!
