I'll say the green line. Although when I had a similar project a couple of years ago I realised that there is no definitive guidance and I had to resort to searching for evidence to try to support the argument that an original attached garage is classed as the "dwellinghouse". I didn't find much but luckily for me the planning officer accepted it without too much persuasion. I would imagine if you had a more awkward planning officer that they could insist on it being the red line.
