Small mono pitched tiled roof on front of garage

I'm going to be doing a single storey side extension under permitted development alongside my single storey garage which has a flat roof. The extension, which will stop approx 1m from the front of the garage, will have a pitched roof facing the front. I'd also like to put a small mono pitched roof on the garage front to match.

Is this allowed under permitted development as the garage is part of the front elevation?

I believe you need to also keep the overall height below 3m, so beware of the roof pitch

I was under the impression 3m was max eaves height and 4m was max ridge height?

Still, changing the look of the front of the property from a flat roofed garage to a look-a-like piched roof is OK?
