As some may know I'm not a monarchist but I can't see this interview twixt above parties ending well for anyone.
I doubt I'll watch it though.

I doubt I'll watch it though.
Nor will I. I'm not a fan of Coronation Street, East Enders or any of the similar TV programs. There is not that much difference between those serials and the monarchies dirty washing being aired.

But some people do carry important messages that are listened to because of their status and position.... because they're in a public position people listen to what they have to say, that's logical, I get all that. However it doesn't mean what they're saying is worth listening to, especially as many of them live very luxurious lifestyles etc etc.
You could understand them 'stepping back' if they'd been married for years and years and were being constantly hounded by the press but FFS, they’d only been married a short while before they ****ed off to star in their own soap opera. Wouldn’t surprise me if that was her plan all along!

The conniving bride conspiracy?Wouldn’t surprise me if that was her plan all along!

We don't know if Meghan's (and Harry's) 'message' is being drowned out by intra-familial arguments, possibly drowned out by media attention of certain issues to the detriment and ignorance of any other issues.
Could be. Sometimes I think Mrs Mottie married me because I told her I’d been sitting on piles for years. The conniving bride conspiracy?

I understand that celebs can help to get certain messages out there simply because they have fans. I just think it's a shame that society would sooner listen to a celeb talking about important issues than those actually in the know. But some people do carry important messages that are listened to because of their status and position.
