I think context is all here.

Its not necessarily racist to ask someone what they think their child's skin colour will be, any more than it would be racist to ask someone what colour they think their child's hair or eye colour will be. Assuming it is automatically racist is just a woke over-reaction. If the question was asked innocently, its not racist. If the question was asked in a different context, it may well have been racist.

The bit i don't get generally (and not limited to the current Harry and Meghan interest) is how we conclude what actually is racist and what isn't. At the moment, the woke brigade are pushing the 'if a black person thinks it's racist then it's racist'. But for me it isn't that cut and dried.

As an example, a client of mine issued their staff with black facemasks which matched their workwear. All the staff got exactly the same facemasks but two employees complained that it was racist to issue black facemasks. The employees in question were known agitators generally, and if they hadn't complained about the colour of the facemasks they would have complained about something else related to the facemasks.

How do we define what is genuine racism and what is unjustified 'perceived' racism.

Impossible but those shouting racism at every turn need to be held accountable.

The day is coming when someone will be taken to court for slander.
 
The barometer the police seem to use to decide whether a hate crime is been committed is whether the victim is offended by what is said.

A black/mixed race is allowed to marry into the British Royal Family and given all the priviliges that anyone else would have had. How has she been discriminated against? Naturally you're first on her victim bandwagon.

Its well documented that skin colour is due to genes. It is also well documented that parents of different races can produce children of varied skin tones. There has been recent articles of parents giving birth to twins where one is light with blue eyes and the other dark with brown eyes.
Meghan and Harry both stated that the potential colour of their baby was brought up in conversation by a family member. So what was the context in which it was spoken? Meghan stated the matter was raised whilst she was pregnant, but Harry stated it was raised before they married. So who is fibbing?
Meghan also tried to tell us that they were married 3 days before the formal wedding at great cost to the tax payer. Does anyone actually believe that the Archbishop of Canterbury would conduct an illegal 'secret' wedding in a back garden? Who is fibbing here?

Meghan's conflict with the Royal Family is not one of race but of culture.

It would be interesting to know how much they were paid for this interview.

It won't be long before she publicises a book of her 'Life as a Royal'. Then the film!!!

There is money to be made when pulling the race card.

I have to say the RW have absolutely weaponised Woke culture just as Republicans weaponised Obamacare and Socialism.
