If there were big cats going around, all the livestock farmers would be up in arms and you'd soon know about it.

It's interesting to count the number of panthers and other big cats knocked down on the roads, shot by gamekeepers, trapped, poisoned or died of age or disease.

The annual total is currently running at, er, zero.

Same as last year

and the year before

and the year before that.

When I first started dating Mrs Mottie in 1978 and I used to pick her up from Wickford, there was a bloke that kept actual lions in cages in his garden in Billericay. You could see them as you drove past his house.

I'm of two minds... I once see the back of what thought was a big cat.... but it was the wrong colour.... this was in Roydon Essex.

Within a week or so I went to see my mate who lives on Bodmin Moor.
He told us his mum unintentionally cornered the beast of Bodmin under the car port.... Brian is not a ball shítter.

I told them about my sighting but because it was a whiskey colour I doubted it.... I got home on that Monday and on Thames news they showed a look alike picture of a big cat spotted in Bushey and across Hertfordshire.. It was the exact same colour.... I still doubt I see what I see.

On the other hand. We all have camera's and video to hand now do if they did exist why are we not seeing more pictures or footage. ?

There are wild cats in Scotland

rarely seen afaik and if they were they would get mistaken for a domestic cat ??

8 was telling my girl the other day about them . Like big Tabbys.... I think they have them at Linford Zoo

Tambourine Mountain 12 years back. We were looking for an house to buy...

We stayed up there for a night or two. One night out for a drive we pulled up and saw two wolves. They stood and looked at us. There was no owner with them so dont think they were Huskeys.

Did a Google search but nether found any evidence of other sitings.. There are no natural Wolves in Australia.
