Evening,

Not sure why whoever built this wanted to make things difficult for himself and anyone else who’d ever work on it when it could easily have been straight all the way along, but that’s a different story!

I could do with some advice on the best way to gutter around this enjoyable double 90 degree feature. Butting two 90 degree bends together is too large and I don’t have a lot of height to play with on the facia board...which probably explains the current leaking bodge job that’s fitted

Could I mitre around this and solvent weld it all together? It will be done in square guttering

Thanks Notch, I’ll have a go at making something, even if it doesn’t work I could still use it as an example for a specialist or 3D printer

Can you add a piece of timber to the fascia, to make the guttering stand off the fascia? Then it could be a straight piece of guttering all the way.

Ah yeah. That didn’t even occur to me!

if I can make it waterproof, possibly use a UPVC profile. Trouble would be where it joins to the existing roof. Maybe some flashing could fix that. It will be visible from the master bedroom so it needs to look correct from above and below.

What will be the distance from the edge of slates/tiles to the newly positioned guttering?
Either eaves tray, if the gap is small enough, you will have to lift the bottom row of slates/tiles to fit it.

That would be no problem here if slate hooks are used. I don't know if they're available in UK.

Or Ubiflex comes in various sizes and will do a similar job.

It’s a flat roof. I could probably put some flashing on it, then felt over it. I need to get a few better pictures of it
