Nothing like the glory days of the past - Roaming charges are back

Well I've had mobiles from the early eighties when there was a £50 connection charge, £25 monthly charge with no inclusive minutes and it was 50p per minute or part minute. I used to sell, install and connect mobile phones. It’s only ever got cheaper. Currently I’m on unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 12Gb data for less than £6 a month.

I'm not sure how that's relevant to us being worse off as a consequence of our collective terrible decisions?

So the EU rules don’t apply and they could start charging for everything but the operators said they aren’t going to. Looks like all the bad news bears can stand down then. (y)

My monthly usage doesn’t change a lot even when I’m on holiday.

It’s the rush to pass on what they consider to be bad Brexit news without checking that gets 'em every time.

Yeah well good luck to them - I’d be very surprised if that went ahead.
Which bit of "Those joining or upgrading from 7 July 2021 will be charged £2 a day to use their allowances in 47 European destinations from January 2022." didn't you understand?

Oh that's right, you believe it's another 'project fear' not coming true...

Everything remainers have claimed has come true, and everything brexiteers have claimed has been proved to be b*llshit!

No doubt the mottie will come up with it's duff record response, but maybe for once it might like to address the issue?

No need for me to address it. I’m with 'Three'. :p
And when they decide to charge for roaming?

Oh that's right, you'll try and go somewhere else

Brexiteers really don't get it that they f*cked up everything for people in the UK, including themselves!

But then they are too dumb to realise it, and even if they grew another brain cell they'd just switch to denial mode!

You might find it's like the coast of Pembrokeshire -- EU companies have the licenses. Zero interest in the UK especially on shellfish other then a few caught for hotels etc.
