. Looks like Mottie was right
Mottie was wrong, always has been.

It's now project reality.

Fisherman forked
Farmer forked
SMEs forked
GB trade to NI forked
Haulage forked.

There are more and more empty shelves in the supermarkets and more items out of stock when doing internet ordering.

A lot of it caused by shortage of haulage drivers.

Oh and a shortage of fruit pickers

So you keep saying but I’ll keep saying that none of that has affected me personally or anyone I know. Give us some examples of how you have been affected but don’t cheat and throw in stuff caused by the pandemic.

Rejoin the EU.

Unfortunately that will not be possible for some years.

We will have to wait until Johnson and his crowd of dishonest, adulterous, incompetent sycophants have been cleared away, and a competent and honest government has been in place long enough to rebuilt Britain's shattered reputation, and enough of the Brexers have passed on so that the nation can sincerely reflect on its folly.

We would then have to earn the right to join the applicant list, and would have to concede any disputes with existing members.

Rather as Spain had to give up its claims to Gibraltar.

France, Holland Germany....exports to RoI and NI are all up
You are correct, looks like the EUs aim is reorientate all Irish trade away from the UK to Europe.

Irish exports to the UK in the 1960s were 50% today that is reduced to 11% but more importantly UK exports to Ireland are double Irish exports to the UK.
These could all be at risk unless the EU is sorted out.

You are correct, looks like the EUs aim is reorientate all Irish trade away from the UK to Europe.

brexers chose to resign from the Single Market and add barriers, tariffs, documentation and different regulations to trade between UK and EU nations.

Ireland is an EU nation.

so brexers chose to add barriers, tariffs, documentation and different regulations to trade between UK and Ireland.

These could all be at risk unless Brexit is sorted out. Not much chance of that with lying treaty-breaker Johnson at the helm.

Own it, Brexer.

UK had a healthy trade surplus with Ireland....

Well yes, of course.

If you are in one EU country, and wish to send goods to another EU country, why on earth would you do it by sending them to an intermediate non-EU country on the way?

No they aren't.

They are fed up with idiotic Brexiters that won't take responsibility for their actions
If my nightmare of what the future holds comes true, Ireland will be building a great deal of resentment against UK.
It's much more serious than about who is not able to buy what.
It's about Boris signing an Agreement which he had and has no intention of respecting.
Ordinarily it wouldn't matter a great deal, but in this instance it does matter a great deal.
Boris/UK is seeking to shift the onus onto EU to police it's own border, where it actually exists, between Ireland/EU and NI/UK.

Because we're IN the way. :ROFLMAO:
Please explain how it is not possible to travel between RoI and France, or RoI and Spain, or RoI and Germany, or indeed between RoI and anywhere else in the world without passing through the UK because we are in the way?
